We are in the process of relocating.   The shop will not be open for a while after 3rd December, so do come along on Saturday 4th if you need to stock up on prezzies for Christmas or next year's birthdays.   My counselling practice is ongoing so do email me or phone my mobile if you want to arrange a meeting to discuss any help you may need with that.   Gong sound therapy is also ongoing, although I intend to take a short break and will start again in January.   This will be taking place in South Woodford and I will post details at a later date.   Do sign up for my newsletter to hear up-t-date news.

Would you like to learn how to play the guitar in a small, friendly group?

Cost per session: £10.00

UK-based composer/guitarist John Ellis will be running a 10 lesson course aimed at teaching absolute beginners to play some simple folk and blues on acoustic guitar.

Lessons will be supported by printed material and some one-to-one tuition from the teacher.

We will move in small logical steps towards the goal of being able to play a number of "classic" folk songs and blues pieces.   On the way we will look at various techniques for playing different styles of music, including flat-picking, claw-hammer finger picking and strumming styles.

The hour long lessons will take place at Being Sound at 12.00 midday.   Lesson fee will be payable at the start of each session except for the first lesson where you will need to pay £10 in advance to book your place.
